How do I Configure Mail for Outlook Express?

Manually Configuring your Email Account

1. Launch Outlook Express and go to Tools > Accounts � or- Email Accounts.
2. Click on the �Add� button.
3. Click �Mail�.
4. Enter display name.
5. Click �Next�.
6. Enter email address.
7. Click �Next�.
8. Choose �POP� from the drop-down list.
9. Enter both the incoming and outgoing server names: mail.domain.com -or - mailman.c4.net.
10. Click �Next�.
11. Enter account/user name (everything before the @ symbol in the email address).
12. Enter the password.
13. Put a check beside �Remember Password�.
14. Click �Next�.
15. Click �Finish�.
16. You are back to the �Internet Accounts� window.
17. Double click on the email address you just created.
18. Click on the �Servers� tab.
19. Put a check beside �My server requires Authentication�.
20. Click on the �Advanced� tab.
21. Change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server port number from 25 to 587.
22. Click �OK�.
23. Send a test email from the new email address to the new email address.
